Thanks to the open impeller, HG pumps are suitable for transferring liquids with suspended solids (non-fibrous), including viscous ones or those containing gas or air.

Technical features
➊ 1 casing, 2 impellers
Every size of pumps can use a unique casing that both applies to closed impellers and open impellers (with replaceable wearing plate). This versatility allows the pump to be easily used in new plants and processes.
Pump casings are made by investment casting and they are electrochemically polished
➋ Standard electric motor
HD and HG pumps motors are unified according to IEC standard type B3B5 (flange/feet execution) and they are easily available on the market.
The pump shaft is fixed on the motor one and it can be easily replaced in case of wear.
➌ Casing design
Casings have high thickness, are made by investment casting and electropolished, thus ensuring low NPSH values and high efficiency.
➍ Replaceable wearing plate
Wear plate also on close-coupled pumps.
The possibility of replacing only the wear plate instead of the entire hydraulic casing allows for a significant reduction in maintenance costs and repair times.
