    Treated water which was stored in a storage tank is pumped in the reverse direction as that of the water flow direction during filtration process
    Backwashing is a form of preventive maintenance so that the filter media can be reused. For a filter to work efficiently during a filter run, regular backwashing is needed
  • Municipal Waste Water

    The liquid contains high concentrations of large solids that can be handled only using pumps with vortex impeller.

  • Wet scrubber

    Pumps are used for water circulation in wet scrubbing system of a blast furnace.

    Pumps are used for liquid feeding inside the digester in a biogas plant.
    The sillage is water containing wastes coming from the production of food obtained by using soya  seeds. The pump is able to guarantee, thanks to the use of the channel impeller, high efficiencies even with dirty liquids

    Pumps are used for liquid recirculation inside the

    The pump is used to extract concentrated liquid from the concentration tank where involatile elements are separated from a solution, obtaining deionized water and a “concentrate”

    The use of the vacuum evaporation technique allows to reduce not only the energy consumption but also the NPSHa available for the pump.
    HG pumps, thanks to special design of impeller, are able to work with very low NPSHa values.
    Pumps are equipped with  mechanical seal designed to work in high vacuum condition

    Pumps are used for liquid recirculation inside the digester in a biogas plant in a factory that produce wine and highly alcoholic products
    The liquid contains 6-8% of fine particles that can be handled using pumps with semi-open impeller.

    The pump is installed in a forced circulation wastewater evaporator to treat industrial wastewater. Its high efficiency enables treatment of effluents that are otherwise difficult to treat, such as brines, oily water, RO rejects, washing waters, etc

    The customer developed unique system for the treatment of unsorted municipal solid waste. This system utilizes unique biological sub-systems to reduce the initial weight of the waste by more than 90 % while producing a valuable and clean energy source in the form of bio-gas and Fertilizer for agriculture. Metals, plastics and glass (see picture) are automatically recovered from the waste before the biological treatment and sent for recycling.

  • Receiving,washing and transport

    Automatic system dumps bins of floating fruit (e.g. apples) and non-floating fruit (e.g. pears) in water. 
    RB pumps provide the required water flow required to carry the fruits onto a conveyor for subsequent processing. Sometimes the water is slightly contaminated with broken parts of apples: channel impeller with high free passage is required.

  • Tomato Reception and Pre-Washing

    Tomatoes are unloaded into a collection channel (also known as flume), a stainless steel or cement duct into which a quantity of water 3 to 5 times higher than the amount of unloaded tomato is continuously pumped. RC vortex impeller are used to send this high amount of water to the filters. This liquid could contain small pieces of tomatoes, soil, branches, grass, … 

  • Receiving,washing and transport

    The products are propelled trough the tank in a combination of water jets and bubbling undergoing a thorough washing or rinsing action. The washed product is then gently transferred to a flexible mesh belt being conveyed for further dewatering, processing or packaging.
    RC pumps provide the required water to wash fruits. Water is heavy contaminated with broken parts of fruits: vortex impeller with high free passage is required.

  • Hot Oil Transfer

    Cantilever pumps can be used to collect dirty hot oil coming from industrial fryers: solids particles will be delivered to the filters without pump’s clogging or mechanical seal failure.

    Pump with channel impeller in super duplex  SAF 2507 is able to work with very aggressive liquid.

  • Paper Factory Waste Water Treatment Plant

    Vertical pump with vortex impeller. 6 meters length.
    The vertical immersible sump pump is installed in external sump that collects wastewater from paper pulp process. All the intermediate bearing bushes , four in this execution, are lubricated by an external source: bushes are always in contact with clean liquid.
    This execution is used when the pumped liquid is dirty, sticky or with suspended solids.

  • Ultrafiltration

    The small particles suspended in the liquid are very fine: these particles are so dangerous for bearing bushes and mechanical seal that standard vertical sump pump can’t be used

  • Crude Oil Effluent Tank

    Crude oil coming from the main process has different viscosity (from 20 to 300cP) and is stored in a underground tank.
    During the operation, flow and viscosity have different values but no level control or pump’s protection are required
    A key feature of cantilever pump is that there are no bearings or bushings submerged therefore the pump can handle liquid with solids and operate dry. 

    The pump is installed in ATEX ZONE 1 classified area .
  • Aviation Fuel loading System

    Pump is mounted on a heavy duty and fully galvanised steel skid.

  • Dosing Station

    LIQUID: chemical solution

    This is the dosing station for chemical mixtures at Antipinsk Refinery.
    Generally this unit is mixing, storing and dosing of chemicals solution that prevent lime scale in high pressure steam injectors. The steam injectors are heating some devices in technological line of high-octane gasoline production. The pump itself is used for recirculation of solution inside the dosing unit.

  • Sump Unloading

    The sump inside safety wall. Previously customer had installed submersible pumps but even if  AISI316 was suitable for pumped liquid, pumps were short life because water nitric acid mixture, through the cable connection, went to the motor and destroyed the pumps
    Now they are happy with this construction

  • Pet Flakes Cleaning

    LIQUID:  water with suspended fine PET flakes, traces of  NaOH and foam due to the additives

    Pumped liquid contains not only PET flakes but also foam. Using cantilever execution instead of horizontal chemical pump, the foam present in the liquid doesn’t stop the cleaning process of PET flakes coming from PET bottles. 
    PET flakes are abrasive: pump’s body is in CA6NM with hardness around 350 HB.
